Hello Everyone

Sorry for not posting things for a while. been busy with Doctors and things. But lets get right into things. Fresh back from Washington DC. While in Washington DC I was part of the DC Tea Party. I think we need to send ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN calculators then they might get the numbers closer to how many was there. I was at the top of the hill next to the stage. As I looked down Pennsylvania Ave. there were people as far as I could see. As I looked down the National Mall the same. To the left and right of me they were wall to wall. I was able to talk to a DC police officer and he told me there was a lot more there this time then at the Presidential Inauguration. That made me feel great. When to day was over I was proud to have been part of this. We made our way back to the Metro. On the way there we saw the people placing their signs next to the trash cans. Later that day I were showed pictures of after the Presidential Inauguration and all the trash left lying all over the Mall along with ones after the Tea Party. Stand Tall my friends. There after the Tea Party it did not look as if anything had been there just hours before.

As I said the numbers we where getting in attendance were best guess between 1.7-2.1 million. As we waited in the Metro for the crowds to thin down. As we sat there me with my MCDC tee shirt on people keep stopping by and thanking us for the work we were doing. Makes you feel good right? Well getting back to what we talking about. A few days later FAIR (Federation for American Immigration Reform) had their Hold Their Feet to the Fire event. This is held every year in DC. I have tried to attend every year. You should too. This year I was able to talk with Lou Dobbs, Tom Tancredo, and a few Congress and Senate members.

I was there with Chris Simcox and Carmen Mercer. AS most of you may know Chris is running for John McCain’s Senate seat. I really think he is a shoe in. While there are a lot of people supporting Chris we all know it’s all about the money. So I am asking you all to help support Chris. Well now that I am home its time to get you guys in line to start lobbying the Florida House and Senate. We need to get together and get immigration bills past here in Florida. We have been lucky on a few local fronts by getting a few counties and cities to add an affidavit to their Contactor bids that the Contractor will NOT hire illegals to work on the county or city jobs. Along with it is a form that tells them how to sign up for the E-Verify Program. But we can not just stop there .We have to make sure that the state does the same as the Federal Government has done. By the way the Federal Program went into effect on September the 8th 2009. But now we must push for it to be funded parentally. So make your call to your Senator and Congressman and tell them you want them to support the Sessions amendments.

But lets all get together and set up a date and plan to start our lobbing here in Florida in the next few weeks.. Thanks
